SHO•SHIN Single Origin Espresso – Brazil

John Says…

Shoshin is a Japanese concept found in Zen and the martial arts. It means “beginner’s mind”. Pure. Open to new experiences.

There are many beans out there that can make a great Single Origin Espresso, but not all beans have the necessary elements. As this coffee and espresso journey continues, I will be offering a selection of beans whose origin characteristics can be showcased as Single Origin Espresso. I hope you will join us on this taste adventure with our first offering from Brazil.

This Brazilian offering comes from a small Micro-Region in the highlands of Cerrado, Brazil and consists of Bourbon, Mundo Nova, and Catuai cultivars which undergo a special raised-bed screen drying process at one milling station.
